Parents need to know that Mia & Codie is an animated show about a 7-year-old girl and her robot friend. Not happy being an only child, Mia creates a little “bro-bot” named Codie, who uses code blocks for instructions. STEM influence is strong, but so is the idea that can computers can provide companionship. There’s a little peril and a few pratfalls, but otherwise content is super mild. Curiosity motivates characters to create new gadgets, and Mia is a great role model.
